Under the watchful gaze of the moon, May River High School made a valiant effort to move on in the playoffs but ultimately succumbed to the Wilson Tigers.

According to reports from Friday, November 7, the game concluded with the Sharks suffering a 36-28 defeat at home. The match began with both teams poised for a fierce competition.

The Sharks’ offense delivered a strong performance, accumulating a total of 326 yards. Justin Head led his team with 19 rushes amounting to 155 yards. His touchdown, along with those scored by Mason Sweigart, Luc Tran, and Sean Mitchell, challenged the Tigers’ defense. Mitchell also contributed significantly with 106 yards from his 21 rushes.

Despite Hudson Tanner’s impressive three returns, it was insufficient against Wilson’s relentless offensive strategy. Head managed to return a total of 77 yards; however, the Tigers proved unstoppable.

May River High School fought hard to move on in the playoffs but ultimately fell short as Wilson maintained control and eliminated them from contention.
