The May River Sharks triumphed over the Bridges Preparatory School Buccaneers with a score of 58–42 in a boys varsity basketball non-conference game.
The game occurred on December 12 at May River High School. According to reports, May River dominated the match through balanced team play and a strong defensive effort. The Sharks limited Bridges Prep to 42 points while advancing offensively with consistent scoring and rebounding. Team leaders for the season include KJ Ford and Luke Albright, who is noted as leading the Sharks.
May River’s next challenge will be against Whale Branch in a neutral-site matchup scheduled for Thursday, December 18. The two programs have not recently encountered each other in postseason play, making this year’s matchup an intriguing test.
