The May River Sharks secured a decisive 49–22 victory over the Bridges Prep Buccaneers in girls varsity basketball on Friday at May River High School in Bluffton, South Carolina.
The non-conference game took place on December 19, 2025. According to the match report, May River dominated from the outset, establishing a strong lead in the first quarter and maintaining their advantage throughout the game. The Sharks outscored Bridges Prep in every quarter, particularly excelling in the second (14-4) and third (11-4) periods. Jordan Green led May River with 15 points and four steals. A. Partridge scored 8 points, while Shaelyn Stewart, E. Sochaski, and B. Milliron each added 6 points. Elizabeth Duncan contributed 4 points and 5 steals, playing a crucial role in anchoring the Sharks’ defensive efforts.
