The May River Sharks secured a commanding 79-38 victory over the Hardeeville Hurricanes in a non-conference basketball game held on their home court. The Sharks’ offensive strategy and defensive tactics contributed to one of their most significant wins this season.
The game occurred on December 8 at May River High School, where the Sharks maintained control from start to finish. Their performance was spearheaded by KJ Ford, a standout scorer, and Luke Albright, who made a strong impact with his rebounding skills. This allowed May River to dictate the pace throughout the match, overpowering Hardeeville on both offense and defense. With this win, they extended their unbeaten streak to 8–0.
Looking ahead, May River is set to face Bridges Prep in another non-conference matchup at home on Friday, December 12. Bridges Prep comes into the game with a 1–0 record. The last encounter between these two teams was on December 14, 2024, when May River claimed a 58–46 victory in Beaufort.
