May River dominates Battery Creek 56–36 in girls basketball

The May River Sharks secured a decisive victory over the Battery Creek Dolphins, winning 56–36 at the Battery Creek Christmas Tournament in Beaufort, South Carolina. The game was held on Friday, December 19, 2025, at Battery Creek High School.

According to reports from the tournament, May River established an early lead with balanced scoring and strong offensive execution. They outscored Battery Creek in each quarter, starting with a 21-6 lead in the first quarter and extending it to a 32-16 advantage by halftime. Darhon Major led May River with 13 points and nine rebounds. Calem Cannon also contributed 13 points, while Luke Albright added 12 points and ten rebounds. The Sharks’ pressure defense effectively limited Battery Creek’s opportunities and facilitated transition scoring throughout the game.
