May River High School secured a 3–0 victory over South Aiken in a varsity girls’ volleyball match. The home playoff game was held on October 27 at May River.
According to the match details, the May River Sharks dominated the first two sets with strong blocking from Ella Francescotti and precise serving from Josie Duncan and Jensen Skirtich. The third set was closely contested, but the Sharks managed to hold off South Aiken with a score of 29–27, ensuring their overall win.
Looking ahead, May River’s varsity volleyball team is scheduled to travel to Gray Collegiate Academy for a playoff match against the War Eagles on October 29. The Sharks approach this encounter with a record of 26-9.
