May River defeated Colleton County 74–47 in their most recent boys varsity basketball match up, extending the advantage they first established with a dominant 33‑point win on Jan. 20.
According to reports, May River showcased a defense-first strategy, restricting Colleton County to a mere 17% shooting accuracy from the field. Despite not scoring any three-pointers, May River capitalized on opportunities inside and excelled at the free throw line, achieving a 64% success rate.
